Pain doesn’t always come from exactly where you feel it.
Our orthopedic approach looks at muscles, joints, nerves, movement patterns, previous injuries, and the way different parts of the body work together. A painful shoulder, for example, may involve the shoulder itself—but it may also involve the neck, upper back, rib cage, or the muscles controlling the shoulder blade.
Treatment combines acupuncture with a detailed understanding of anatomy and movement. Depending on the problem, we may use motor-point acupuncture, trigger-point techniques, electroacupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, corrective movement, or acupoint injection therapy.
This approach can be useful for new injuries, persistent pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, repetitive strain, and problems that haven’t fully responded to other treatments.
Our goal is straightforward: decrease pain, restore normal movement and function, and help you get back to the activities that matter to you.
