Dr. Andrew Ball

Dr. Andrew Ball, DACM, LAc, Dipl. OM, is a licensed acupuncturist and nationally board-certified herbalist. Clinically fluent in both traditional East Asian medicine and contemporary Western understandings of anatomy, physiology, and movement, he moves comfortably between these frameworks to provide thoughtful, individualized care. This allows him to explain treatment in language that is accessible to patients while also communicating effectively across healthcare disciplines.

Andrew works collaboratively with patients to understand not only their symptoms but also the factors contributing to them. His goal is to help patients reduce pain, improve function, and take an active role in their health through practical, well-coordinated treatment. He has completed the rigorous Sports Medicine Acupuncture program and has advanced training in segmental osteopathic theory, giving him a particular interest in sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation. His other clinical interests include neurology, gastroenterology, and fertility care for both women and men. Most importantly, he enjoys providing preventive care and addressing emerging problems before they become chronic.

He earned his master’s and doctoral degrees from Pacific College of Health and Science and holds bachelor’s degrees in biology and psychology from Loyola University Chicago. His clinical background includes work with community health clinics and outreach programs serving people with limited access to care. He previously served as Board Chair and Director of Practitioners for Integrative Care Outreach, reflecting his longstanding commitment to accessible, patient-centered healthcare.

Andrew is an in-network provider for many insurance plans including Regence, Premera, Aetna, Kaiser, First Choice, AmBetter, Community Health Plan of WA, and some United plans. VA Community Care Network, LNI, and auto injury are also accepted.
