With over 15 years of clinic management, Karrie believes that a great healthcare experience begins long before a patient enters the treatment room. She is passionate about creating the kind of environment where patients feel genuinely cared for, teams feel supported, and the entire clinic flows with intention. She is the hub of people, process, and the patient experience here at VHH.
In addition to keeping the day on schedule and the back office in order, she is also acutely focused on the less obvious but no less important aspects of the clinic. The energy in the waiting room, the clarity of communication, the handoffs between team members, and the small moments that make a patient feel seen and valued. When the flow is right and when patients feel heard, that’s when truly exceptional healthcare happens.
When not at the office, Karrie can be found creating art and upscaled fashions to fill her two beloved vintage trailer shops located in the Georgetown Trailer Park Mall on Airport Way. As a full time working artist for the last 7 years she recently gained the privilege of working in the creative field with her daughter – another budding Seattle based artist. If you catch her in the office she’ll tell you all about it in what will attempt to be a succinct and chill way. She will likely not succeed. Apologies.
